Bomb Threat at Foresta

Members of the Firelands Properties Port Authority & Harbor Patrol responded today to a reported bomb threat. A visitor to the marina was driving erratically and crashed into a utility pole. Upon being questioned by the Firelands RFD Fire Chief the driver pulled a gun and started randomly shooting at people. Officers quickly appreheded the driver but she then mentioned placing a bomb somewhere in town.

The bomb was not located in time and detonated inside the barn at Sunset Stables. The fire dept. quickly brought it under control. Another device was discovered in the front bumper of her car and was disarmed by Officer Logan Wolf.
